From June 10th until July 10th, Pure Bliss wears cool colors and fresh perfumes, inviting you to escape within Athens.
One month full of ideas, refreshing cocktails, summer tastes, games, pictures, cool balcony ideas, sounds and words around the world, paper huts, fairytales and mood for different evenings.

Worldwide Day of Dance.

At the events of the INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL FOR THE DANCE, C.I.D – UNESCO for the Worldwide Day of Dance, the multispace “Pure Bliss “, Ρόμβης 24Α Σύνταγμα, official member of the International Council for the Dance, C.I.D. – UNESCO, celebrates and …dances!

From 20:00 until 21:00 will take place the exhibition: “Research Material of Dance of the Sacraments”. Art Director Mrs Magda Roussi, M.A.

From 21:00 until 22:00  Mrs Polytimi Patapi and Mrs Lina Papageorgiou will perform an act of contact improvisation.

“We dance and create a dialogue among bodies, improvising in contact with our companion, finding a common way of movement and expression”.

Finally a dance full of red color, passion and guitar. Flamenco 22:00 – 22:30 with Mariela Karretero (dance), Niki Mandelia (dance), Alejandro Chacon (guitar, song), Alexandros Karavelis (palmas, song).

In the center of Athens, the alternative multispace Purebliss tries to act inside and outside.

A weekend with education, entertainment, expressions and giving.

We call everybody to meet new directions of our energy, new ways of exercise, and new ways of entertainment and feel all together a common social activity.

Saturday 09 May

17:30-19:00 Laughter Yoga  

Skrekou sisters will help us to remember that people were made to laugh and this can be their daily reality. Coordinated by Vassiliki and Elen Skrekou from the NGO Joyful Planet. Cost 10€

19:30-21:00 Free Dance  

A personal contact with the dance and the discover of the dancer we hide inside of us.  Coordinated by Evelyna Kalligiani. Cost 10€

21:00-22:00 Yoga Show with the support of a wooden flute from Mr Ilias Andrikopoulos. Coordinated by the Yoga Teacher Dimitris Papaevagellou. Free Entrance.

The Olistic Movement is based on the idea that the human being is a total, not just a lever or a heart that we need to cure. The total has a problem and this is reflected to one part of our body, usually the most fragile part. And when we say Total, we include emotions and thoughts.

We come in contact with ourselves, gravity and our senses. We dance and we create a dialogue among bodies, improvising in contact without our partner, finding a common road of movement and expression. Coordinated by Polytimi Patapi. Cost 10€

20:30-22:00 Self defense for Women. This is a modern system of self-defense. It is based in ancient Japanese fighting technique of  JU JUTSU, it seeks body, mental and psychic bliss. Coordinated by Filippos Giannakidis. Cost 10€

Also, this weekend there will be jewelry and bags from recycled materials with a lot of positive energy.
